Well, I have decided to count calories for awhile and boy I am glad I did! Just yesterday, I exceeded my goal calories for the day by 243 calories and I would have never guessed it. You really do underestimate the calories contained in food!!
I have decided also, to post my food intake and calorie count each day just as a way for me to keep accountable. Feel free, if you see something that would help to change or include/exclude, to let me know. :)
Monday
1 1/2 pieces toasted bread - 105 calories
1 T butter - 60 calories
McDonald's Country Style Chicken Sandwich - 420 calories
2 small tomatoes - 44 calories
2 small ears of corn - 120 calories
1 T butter - 60 calories
1 cup crowder peas - 220 calories
1/4 pan of WW cornbread - 156 calories
1 small tomato - 22 calories
1/2 small onion - 29 calories
1 1/2 medium size ear of corn - 116 calories
2 cups watermelon - 91 calories
Total calories = 1443
My goal this week is for 1200 calories per day
Tuesday
2 pieces toasted bread - 140 calories
1 T butter - 60 calories
coffee creamer - 20 calories
1 cup green beans - 53 calories
1 small tomato - 22 calories
1 low carb tortilla flour - 110 calories
1/6 cup shredded cheese - 55 calories
3 oz spaghetti - 250 calories
1/4 c sauce - 30 calories
1 bun - 110 calories
1/2 T butter - 30 calories
McDonald's vanilla ice cream cone - 150 calories
Toatal calories = 1030
