Things are going strong! Had an illness last week that set me back a few days at the gym but back in the swing now.
My goal is to lose 9 pounds before I see the OBGYN on Nov. 18th. That is 3 lbs. a week.
Oh, by the way, I ran my first mile in 15 yrs. early last week!!!! I probably could have done it before now but was too afraid to try. The day I did it, was sort of an accident. I had set the treadmill for some intervals but the start out speed was too fast so I had to start a jog for a second. As I was reaching to turn the speed down I thought, "This doesn't feel so bad! Maybe I could run a little?" 15 minutes later I had run a mile!! A few days later I ran a 12 min. mile.
