Well, Easter has passed and I am ready for the final mile. I have been walking 2 miles a day averaging about 4 days a week for the past month. I usually walk it in about 35 minutes. That's also with walking a ground sniffing beagle. Ha!
Anyhow, I joined Weight Watchers yesterday for some added accountability and I am ready to lose the rest of my weight by September 4th. I have gained 20 lbs. since my illness in January. I weighed in @ 218.4 yesterday at noonday. My goal is 163 by September 4th. That would average 2.5 lbs. per week. I want to have my surgery the beginning of September........I have 2 grand babies coming in October!! :)
I also will be walking/jogging a 5K on June 6th. It is an encouraging promotional thing Weight Watchers has going to get people moving more. Since I am already walking 2 mi several times a week, I will continue to increase my length to 3 mi and then after I am comfortable with that I will try to start jogging some of it.
I am very excited and energized!!
