Today, I am back! With a vengence! I walked for over an hour at Community Park. Back yesterday hot and heavy, no pun intended, on the low carb, diabetic diet. Trying to restrict calories. Sorta felt like I wouldn't make it out west last night, but thanks to my husband, I am rejuvenated!

Weighed after 2 days of not really watching it for the holiday....down 2 lbs...but mind you, this is still in the same 10lb weight range I have yet to conquer.
Back to work today, fried at the end of the day...I know that is no excuse but no exercise.

Worked for an hour and a half in the yard digging...post hole digger.....roll wheel barrow.....bending......Felt like a workout to me.Ha!

Recumbent bike on 6-8 resistence for 25 minutes, then 28 minutes on treadmill, did two 5min intervals ,on max incline of 15, walking 2.1 mph. Heart rate in good range for fitness.

Walked around King's Island from 11:00 am until 8:00 pm.

No exercise today. Don't feel very good. Bunco tonight, up early for King's Island in the morning.

Had a great workout this morning. I warmed up on the bike for 15 minutes and then I walked 3 miles on the treadmill in 55 minutes. My heartrate was always between 125-137. I feel much better today.

Walked a mile and a half today in the neighborhood and when I was done I checked my pulse and it was about 130. I walked it in 25 minutes, so I was moving pretty quick, for me that is!
Still recovering a little, but am feeling stronger everyday.

Back to work today, felt pretty miserable. Went to get J at SIGS and rode the recumbent easy for about 30 minutes.

What a week!! I have been sick with a sinus infection and bronchitis since Wednesday. I expect to be back and in the groove of things Monday.

Had a great workout at SIGS. I did a 5 min warmup on the bike, 20 minutes on the eliptical at my target cardio heartrate of 148, walked @ 3.5 mph for 10 min and then cooled down with another 10 min on the bike. I am going to try to reach that target heartrate for at least 20 minutes every workout....I wasn't quite the "code red" from Saturday but it felt real good!!!

Well, I'm not sure what's going on with my body. Last Monday I was down 1 lb, then I reweighed on Wednesday and was down another 3 lbs for a total of 4 lbs.
Today I weigh and I am up 5 lbs!!! I am sick of getting on the scales. All I can think is excess water volume due to pending menses....who knows. Oh well, folks, back to the drawing board.
I really would like to shed another 30 lbs before September.

I'll report my workout for today this evening.
