I did it! I walked 5 miles on the Knobstone Trail this morning with Dad and Jim. We did it in less than 2 hrs. I did pretty good I think.....really never had to stop for very long and didn't suck wind too hard. It is nice to have something to gage my level of fitness by. I need to step things up to push myself to more labored breathing and faster heart rate during my workouts. I need a code "red" workout! Ha!

Feel real good today! I have finally broken the barrier with my weight loss plateau...I lost 3 lbs!
I bought a size smaller blouse for Easter. That is 2.5 sizes down from the beginning.
Today I walked 20 min at work, 30 min. recumbent bike rockies trail program, 10 min elliptical machine, 20 min treadmill on forest walk program and did upper and lower body weights!!!
Dad and I are going to hike early Saturday morning at Charlestown Park and I need to kick it up a notch.

I ran/walked on the treadmill for 30 minutes and did 7 minutes on the treadmill. I also did upper and lower body resistance training. I'm pooped!!

I walked about 2 miles @ Community Park this morning....would have done more but was unprepared for the cold wind.....my ears! Then headed to the gym for 30 min. on recumbent @ resistent of 6-7. Then did 3 sets of 12 reps leg press and calf flexes and 2 sets of 12 leg extensions. I am getting ready to do my upper body hand weights now. My weight loss goal by the end of April is to lose 5-7 lbs.

Started off the day with some weight training. 3 sets of 10 of: bicep curls, tricep extensions, overhead press, bench press and sit ups on the stability ball. Will hit the gym after work when I pick up Jor from gymnastics.
Tonight I shot some hoops with Jordie and then took a short walk around the park.

Rest day. Spent afternoon with the Swicegood's from church. They invited us for lunch. Jordan and Lydia hit it off "big time". Did shoot some baskets with Jim and Jor after we got home from church tonight.

Jim and I walked Toby outside this evening for about 30 minutes. I need to start muscle building work like resistence training. I also need to get back on the losing end of things. Even though I am wearing different clothes, I want to see that scale move!!!

Walked 45 minutes this morning at Jordan's school for their R.A.C.E. for Education. Jordie walked 4.5 miles!! I kinda feel like I am trying to get sick or it might be allergies and a little PMS combined. Ha! I was sore from my workout yesterday but easily warmed up walking at school. L knee OK, L hip a little tender but OK.

Had a fantastic workout this morning. 5 min warmup on the bike then walked 2 miles in 20 minutes and cranked it up a knotch for the last mile......18 minutes!! Total of 3 miles in 58 minutes. I also varied the incline...but not too much...throughout the workup and really got my heartrate up. I do think I need some better shoes.

Back to work today.....very busy. Did not have time for lunch walk. Wanted to walk outside after I got home but I didn't get home until 6:20pm and had to start dinner. (I had hoped to get home around 5:oo) Hit the treadmill while dinner was cooking but only walked a mile. I would like to start walking 3 miles everytime I work out. I am off tomorrow and plan on hitting the gym after I take Jordie to school.

Today I jumped on the scales, knowing I didn't eat badly over my vacation week, but that I was lax on my drinking of H2O. I was up 4 lbs.! BUT, I wore a shirt to church that the last time I wore was too tight.....it fit perfect and I got into another pair of pants!! I think the weight is just water and I probably lost a pound or two as well!
