I had fasted until 11:30 for some lab work and devoured my PBJ in the car but then passed on lunch because everyone was having pizza. By the time I got home at 1:45 I was way too hungry and not too many quicker options in the house. On a better note though the low carb tortillas, even though 110 calories a piece, have 11 g of fiber each!

I will just drink and probably not eat anything else today except for some watermelon tonight.

Well, I have decided to count calories for awhile and boy I am glad I did! Just yesterday, I exceeded my goal calories for the day by 243 calories and I would have never guessed it. You really do underestimate the calories contained in food!!

I have decided also, to post my food intake and calorie count each day just as a way for me to keep accountable. Feel free, if you see something that would help to change or include/exclude, to let me know. :)

Okay, Okay....I know I haven't posted in a couple of weeks. I have been busy with one thing after another.....harvesting a garden and putting up the produce, traveling to Chicago for medical reasons, taking care of my recovery husband, SIGS, SIGS and more SIGS (Jordie's gymnastics), family reunion, medical appointments, traveling to Georgia for a wedding weekend........Whew! Not my typical schedule....I prefer things much more low key! Ha!

Anyhoo, I weighed on the scale the morning after returning from Georgia....Tuesday...and I weighed 223.5. I believe I weighed that the week before. So it looks like I am up a total of 3 lbs. But I am trying to recoup and hit the diet hard again. I believe I can still be close to my first goal by the end of this month....the BIG 200! Regardless, I am still persuing the goal and there is no turning back.
