Results!

Breakfast= 2 hard boiled eggs
2 cups of coffee with nonfat creamer and splenda

Snack= raw cabbage with salt

Lunch= 1 1/2 cup cereal
1 cup skim milk

Snack= 4 mini biscuits with light cheese

Dinner= Chicken breast with barbecue sauce
1/2 cup corn nibblets
1 cup electric skillet potatoes cooked with Pam
1 slice whole wheat bread with tsp. light margarine

Dessert= For my husband and J only, left over peach cobbler

Exercise= 30 minutes stairwork and aerobics in my basement

Got mixed beans soaking for tomorrow. What to make my oatmeal bars in the morning.

I was all ready to tackle the world today but I now am playing nurse to my sick little girl. That means no walk with Mom at the mall today while J is at gymnastics. I will exercise here at home though!! I will........I know you don't think I will but I will! :)

I will write later about my food choices for the day and ...yes.......my exercise.

Well I know my menus for this week are quite boring but I will try to make them a little more interesting. I forgot about the more than half a dozen bolied eggs I have from Easter egg coloring. (thanks J)

I do love egg salad and with Light Mayo, the points aren't terrible. I also have the 1 pt. buns that are yummy. I also have a fantastic recipe for oatmeal bars that will change up my breakfasts from just straight-up oatmeal every morning.

My hubby is wanting to lose about 15lbs before we head out on vacation in May. He is always supportive of me and this will help me by helping him. :)

I will exercise tomorrow and will post what and when I do as well as what I eat each meal.

Today: breakfast- 2 bananas and 2 cups of coffee
lunch- 1 lean hamburger on lite bun
1 serving mashed potatoes
dinner- spaghetti with marinara sauce
2 slices of lite bread with light butter

For all my friends and family from Church, please be in prayer for little J.........fever tonight after service of 101.1. :(

Carie had me doing "roll wheelbarrel" at the gym this morning on the eliptical machine. I did 20 minutes for a burn of 297 calories. I then lifted weights a finished with 10 minutes on the recumbent bike.

It felt fantastic and love being with my sistys. :) Oatmeal for breakfast, turkey sandwich with baked beans and raw veggies for lunch and salmon patties and potatoes in the oven for dinner. I am going to eat some popcorn for a snack. ;)

No turning back.

I know......it's very boring.....I may be able to spice it up a little but not very much. No grocery shopping until late next week. I do have sugar free jello, sugar free pudding. Frozen lima beans and crowder peas. Fresh cabbage head. I will post my specific menu each day but at least this blog has held me to thinking about it anyway. Ha!

Working out tomorrow with Carie and Robin. Goal will be 2 more workouts next week.

I have had a miserable late afternoon and evening. I have wanted to eat everything and a lot of it. One of those times, if you can relate, where I just want to eat until I am so full I can't even think about food anymore.

Called and talked to Carie and she helped me through it. A ton of water and 2 cups of coffee later and I feel very content. ( Not even any popcorn Carie)

OK......OK.....I know.......I need to plan out my meals!! I am almost afraid to say I will
tomorrow. :) I know I will have oatmeal for breakfast........probably a turkey sandwich and yogurt for lunch. I am not sure about supper. But for sanity sake, I really need to look at the pantry and freezer and plan out meals until payday next Friday.

I am good to go, on going to the gym with Carie on Saturday. I need to workout more than once a week though! I am hoping I will get back into a routine next week.

I had 3 pieces of thin crust Pizza Hut veggie lover's pizza tonight, 1/4 of a bread stick and 1 cinnamon stick. Then we went to Mom's to celebrate Grandmomma's birthday and I ate a piece and 1/2 of my Weight Watcher's cake. I used 7 Flex-points of my 35 today. I enjoyed it!!!!!

Well, I got the house presentable for all of the 2 minutes the appraiser was in my home. :)
As far as meal planning...........I didn't do it. I went and spent the afternoon with my sister and my nieces. I had a wonderful salad at my sis's and I ate leftover red beans and rice with chicken tonight after Church.

My husband is off tomorrow so I will try to plan my meals for the rest of the week. As far as exercise........we'll see. I did definitely get my water in and have written down everything I ate and all my points.

OK, not feeling quite as dramatic as last night. Ha! Maybe it's the hot oatmeal in my belly. :)
I am feeling refreshed and ready to "rock on". My goal for today is to meal plan for the rest of the week and get the house presentable for the appraiser that is coming @ 11:00am.(refinancing)

I am wanting to be done with my weight loss. Patience is definitely a virtue! I just keep on trudging along. I need to do what I said I was going to a week ago........plan out my menu and meals. It truly helps keep you objective. Also I continue to say I need to exercise but have yet to do any on my own. Sure things have been a little busy since I worked out Saturday with Carie, but that is just an excuse.

After such a triumphant weigh in last Sunday, I am sad to say no pounds lost this week. :( but I am not discouraged. I need to make sure I am drinking my water each and everyday and that not only do I track my points but write down everything I eat as well. (All of the previous I failed to do Thursday through Saturday.)

Also, I am going to pump my exercise up some more. I had a fabulous workout with my 2 sisters and my little J on Saturday morning.

I am going back to Savannah and then to the Smokey Mountains on May 11th and I would love to lose 25lbs more by then. That is about 3.5 lbs per week. With as much weight as I have to lose, I think that is not realistic if I really buckle down.

With a busy schedule and lots of rain, I have yet to do substantial grocery shopping. The white chili I tripled last week is proving to be a life saver. Ha!

Today is yet another crazy day with......can you believe it.....more rain, so Sav-a-Lot will have to wait probably another day.

Doing great though, no problems to speak of. I do plan on indulging slightly for Easter. I get 35 flex points a week on WW to be used on whatever and whenever I want!

Well, I am very excited to be starting a new week. I will be walking today with Mom, but I still need to raid my pantry and come up with meal plans for this week.

I am trying to get re-organized after taking a class this past weekend on Home Management from a woman's perspective. I promise I will have a meal plan for you before the day is done.

I am also going to try to kick my exercise up a notch this week.

I am so excited that it is Easter Holy Week!! What an exciting and gracious time of year for Christians!

9 lbs.

I lost 9 lbs. the last 3 weeks. That is a total of 18.5 lbs. in 5 weeks. I am very happy with those results and I'll keep marching on.

I want to come up with this weeks menu to better help myself avoid grabbing at anything.

I'll post what I come up with later.

Have felt hungry all day today. I have ate a lot of soup and drank a lot of water to try to beat back the hunger pangs. Who knows? All is going well though.

I walked again with Mom yesterday and walked the dogs tonight....one at a time.

Busy, busy Wednesday in store today!! Have been having a great week. I walked Monday with Mom and yesterday me and J walked the dogs @ 1/2 mile. I am slowly but surely getting moving.

I need to do better on meal planning. For the most part I have planned dinners but not my lunches and that is a part of the day it would be easy to just grab something (which I haven't) but I have ended up eating more points than I really had to if I had planned.

Big day Sunday is fastly approaching. I am getting excited.

Well a very snowy, without a car week, has come and gone and I am ready for a new one. After finally getting to the grocery store on Thursday, Weight Watcher white chili, celery, cabbage, Orville Redenbacher's 94% Fat Free Popcorn and no sugar added hot chocolate saved my life.

As you know I had been having the munchies something fierce. No exercise yet again this week. That is my goal for this week. "Get thee to a gymnasium." Ha!

Anyhoo, I feel great, I can tell my body is changing but I won't be weighing in until next Sunday. Due to some possible water retention related to natural processes, I have decided to wait(weight) Ha! until next Sunday......that will be a 3 week total.

Root me on!

My baby sister lost another 12 lbs. in the last 4 weeks. Whoo-Hoo!! That is a total of 27 in 8 weeks.

Well, the week has been rolling along. I have been suffering the past 2 days from some extreme munchies I rack up to PMS. It is so terrible.....you are done eating and you may be very full, but your mouth still wants to crunch and munch. I told my sister I needed like 100 stalks of celery to cut up and devour. I was so envious and maybe a little mifted (PMS) last night when my husband made himself a huge container of popcorn and was just munching away in front of me. Normally I might have taken a couple of handfuls but we were out of oil and he made it with stick butter!!!! Also, a couple of handfuls would never have done it for me. I wanted to have constant munching for about 20 minutes straight!!!! I drank a huge glass of water and headed to the bedroom to flip channels. I ended up fast asleep within about 10 minutes.

This morning I feel better.....I think. Just say a little prayer for me. Ha!

No exercise yet this week. I had described to my Mother that I felt like my feet were in quicksand. It probably hasn't been travel-lag but that lack-of-love PMS. I definitely will be going to the gym with my little Sis on Saturday morning. Maybe that will kick me into gear.

Well, we have returned from our trip down South. We had an incredible time! Lot's of family, fun and good food. I completely stayed on 28 point days except for the day we ate at Lady and Son's, Paula Dean's resteraunt. Even though I only tasted the breads and the dessert, I am sure the food was loaded with hidden points and calories. I just chalked it up and used my 35 flex-points for that day. But we did a whole lot of walking and climbing steps the entire time we were there. I also drank all my water except for the 2 days we drove home......that was so I wouldn't have to take a restroom break every 20 minutes. Ha!

I have decided not to weigh until this coming Sunday. I can't wait though!
