I have not been very successful at eating what I should and shouldn't this week. I have let fatigue dictate my eating. I think the heightened allergens in the air have affected me. I have been very lethargic in the morning and have taken an afternoon nap 2-3 times this week.

I did go workout this morning since my feet are better, but I only did very easy on the recumbent bike due to my L knee tendon strain. It has been hurting and aching pretty good this week. I did get an appointment to see an orthopedic specialist on this coming Tuesday. I've got to fix my feet problems.

Well, I have 2 weeks from today that we will be leaving for Savannah Beach and the Smokey Mountains. I really would like to lose 8-10 lbs. just so I will feel comfortable in my bathing suit. It fits me, because I bought it last year when I weighed just a little more, but I figure if I weigh about 10-15lbs. lighter than when I wore it last summer, it will make my beach experience much more enjoyable.

I have been a lousy blogger this week and I pledge to do better this week. It really helps me stay focused. So feel free to email me and tell me "what-what" if you haven't seen me blog for a day or so.

Well, it is the start of new week. Can you believe I lost 3 lbs. this past week??? I was a bit shocked but excited. I have 3 weeks until we go on vacation and 6 weeks until Holiday World. Do you think I could lose 25 lbs.? I think I can and I am going to give it my all! No holiday's or eating extravaganzas coming up so I know I can do some damage. Stay tuned for my meal posts and exercise log. My R ankle is better but my L knee is still a little sore but I think exercise will be OK.

I am doing OK with my eating but I could be doing better. My Mom reminded me of the Lean Gourmet meals etc. that I can buy and eat instead of eating "kid food"........ as Miss Em would say.

OK, I am back and feeling much better. Well, except that I re-strained my R ankle Friday night!!! In the process I have injured my L foot and L knee. Both of my legs are as tight as crossbows. I am not sure about exercise, but if anything I will be doing some stretching.

I was up 2 lbs. when I weighed in. I believe most of it was water weight. I didn't drink very much water the end of the week or weekend and I ate some high salt foods. I can definitely feel it in my legs.......or maybe that is just my injuries....ha!

I am not making any promises this week. I am watching 2 little girls while their parents are away. They are finicky eaters, not to mention the 2 finicky eaters I already have :), and I don't want to end up making 3-4 different dishes every meal so I will probably be eating alot of what I fix them. But I do hope to get those 2 pesky lbs. back off and start very fresh next week.

We are having a blast with our house guests and I am looking forward to a very enlightening week. I will keep you posted on our events and my eating and exercise or lack there of.

Sorry I haven't kept you up to date the past couple of days. I am so excited with my 3 lb. weight loss. Granted that was for 2 weeks and I should have lost more considering the amount I have to lose, but I am staying positive and am glad to see the scale marker move downward!!

I walked with Mom at the mall yesterday and need to do something aerobic today. I have been mostly eating bran cereal with pecans for breakfast and eggsalad for lunch. I had a big salad with chicken on it yesterday for dinner.

I need to figure out my menu for the rest of the week. It will make things so much easier. Do I sound like a broken record?

Our vacation excursion is coming up in about 5 weeks. It sure would be great to get off 10-15 more pounds. I definitely need to do better than 3 lbs/2 wks.

Wonderful start to the day! Worked out hard with Carie this morning. 20 minutes on the elliptical, 15 minutes on the bike, weights, then 15 more minutes on the bike!! Felt real good.

I had a fantastically awesome time last night at a "Girl's Night" hosted by Rachel R. I didn't get home until 12:00am.

I will be heading to the grocery today so I will post my meal plan for the entire week and it will be much better than the last 2 weeks.

Also just need to do some more "Spring Cleaning" type chores around here and getting ready for our Yard Sale next Saturday as well as the little ones coming to stay for a couple of weeks.

Rise and shine....look out in your backyard and hopefully you don't see a flood like I do!! The run-off across the street has breached our front yard by rolling over our street.EEEKK!

I started the day with a strange combination......I admit. 4-50 calorie biscuits with spray butter and 3 slices of deli turkey. Got to get my protein in during breakfast or I will be hungry all morning.

Kind of a dreary day and I really need to do some things around the house but the lack of sunlight may pose a problem. :(

Very good supper. We had baked barbecue chicken breasts, left over pinto beans (don't they get better each time?), and stuffing. YUM, YUM.

I had some frozen grapes for a snack and a cup of coffee.

2 more days until weigh in....uh, hum....Robin........I am hoping for 2 lbs.

Kind of a lazy day today. Jim's off and we have just been chilling around the house. Too cold and rainy outside to do anything constructive. I have taken the day off for my muscles to recoup after yesterday's beating.

I totally drained myself today!! I walked a mile at the mall with Mom and then went to the fitness center at SIGS and did 20 minutes on the eliptical, 30 minutes on the recumbent and then another 15 minutes on the elliptical! I was very sweaty, red-faced and tired. Did I mention I was also hungry!?

Well, I guess J is still recovering a little from her fever illness and was very tired, cranky and hungry after her 2 1/2 hr. practice. We ended up just heading home.

-Peanut butter and jelly sandwich

Lunch
-Turkey and cheese sandwich and frozen fruit

Snack
-Raw carrots

Dinner
-Pinto beans and buttered bread

Today is our wild and wooly Wednesday.

10:00-11:00 - Orchestra
12:15-1:15 -PE
4:00-6:30 -Gymnastics
7:00-8:00 -Church
I am going to work out at Cardio Club at the SIGS Sportsplex while J is at class.

I will take plenty of snacks for us as well. With Church, we won't get home until 8:30.
